Teller

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The position is required to helps clients with routine financial transactions. Teller duties include making deposits, handling withdrawals and issuing money orders or cashier’s checks to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recording transactions, which involves logging checks and preparing transaction reports
- Providing administrative support
- Counting and packaging currency
- Complying with bank operations and security procedures
- Reconciling cash drawers
- Maintaining customer confidence and protects bank operations
- Solving customer issues
- Opening loan and helping with loan applications
- Exchanging foreign currency
- Promoting the products and services
- Keeping customers’ personal information confidential
- Communicating with other bank team members
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- BA Accounting, Finance or diploma in a related field.
- Experience as Teller from MFI/Bank or in similar role.
- Understanding of task flow management
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to process transactions quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy.
- Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness.
- Takes ownership and accountability for results.
- Fiscal Responsibility/Initiative/Thoroughness.
- Commitment to the First Finance goal, mission and values.
