    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    The Deputy Branch Manager is responsible for executing the annual lending plan and sales strategy of all loan products with close working relationship with all staff in branch to ensure each Credit Officers achieve high level of productivity and quality.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Elaborate Branch loan sales strategy to accomplish the annual lending plan.
    • Monitor the adherence of actual sales figures with the planning on a regular basis by Credit officer.
    • Timely report any deviations or trend that could impact in expected results, identify causes and gaps.
    • Provide support to all credit officers in order to encourage achieving targets, pushing or improving results.
    • Select poor portfolio performance credit officers, identify problems and propose actions to improve
    • Review loan documents to ensure loan information/ documentation are complete to submit to Credit Committee for approval.
    • Ensure that lending services are accurate provided by each Credit Officer.
    • Visit clients which loan size is over to the authorization of Credit Officers and provided loan recommendation, if it’s required by the Credit Committee.
    • Cooperate with Branch manager to ensure Credit Officers are well trained.
    • Address administrative and general business operations
    • Prepare regular loan pipeline report and submit regularly.

     

    SELECTION CRITERIA

    • Degree in a related discipline business management, finance or related.
    • Two years of experience in a similar role.
    • Effective communication skills, negotiations skills, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • High level customer service skills and sales skills.
    • Risk Management.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Good command of Khmer and English (both read and write).
    • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness.
    • Takes ownership and accountability for results.
    • Fiscal Responsibility/Initiative/Thoroughness.
    • Commitment to the First Finance goal, mission and values.
