Senior Risk Officer

PURPOSE OF POSITION

A Senior Risk Officer is responsible for participation in strengthening risk management of First Finance. S/He will be identifying, assessing, and mitigating credit risk, operational risk, financial risk, regulatory risk, fraud management and security in First Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and evaluate potential risk that impacts First Finance to ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to processes, system and human factors.
• Monitor and manage exposure to market risks, financial risks
• Monitor the status and results of implemented assets and liabilities management strategies and tactics.
• Build risk culture for all branch staffs.
• Conduct risk assessment by department and branch (risk registers, root causes and mitigation).
• Desk review on loan documents after loan disbursement.
• Analyze and report root cause and trend of NPL in responsible branch(s) to Risk Management Department.
• Report about key suspect in credit file to Risk Management Department.
• Review and follow up branch safety and security.
• Participate in committee for collateral and loan document counting every semester.
• Provide weekly/monthly report as required by Risk Management Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• BBA or Master degree in business management, economic, finance or related field.
• Experience in risk management, credit operation, business management, finance, treasury or a relevant field.
• Well, understand about risk management process.
• Be able to make decision independently base on policy.
• Strong analytical and interpret related to credit risk, operational risk, economic sectors, and environment effect to First Finance.
• Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness.
• Takes ownership and accountability for results.
• Fiscal Responsibility/Initiative/Thoroughness.
• Commitment to the First Finance goal, mission and values.
